For modern stuff, if you had more variations of the same instrument like you have with Drums, like the same guitar going from one strumming/picking/held/muted strum pattern to another. You now have A part that plays in A and B part the plays in B, if you were able to F5 change to another pattern of the same guitar having the same tone and recorded level it would blend in seamlessly at pattern changes as a virtual instrument guitar would do. This will give way more control and variations that will give more creativity to the user. When the bar to bar regenerate is implemented this will be so easy without having to go into F5, yet F5 will show the changes. I could create up some UserTracks to show this BUT you can't change UserTracks (or Loops) with F5 and you can't generate up UserTracks (or Loops) on the Util tracks

I like that. A sound and very reasonable suggestion that would be considered to be a great value to the program functionality and an excellent benefit to the users.

My enthusiasm for this idea continues to increase. The suggestion showed up in another thread and it's a great idea to make the Wishlist post here. I don't remember ever seeing this idea before, so hats off to Pipeline.
This would increase the possible variations tremendously, without having more MultiStyles.

The more options you have to make a song unique the better rather than using an out of the box style. I have made up songs with Artists and they used a chosen style and it was great, but then you hear someone else that has used the same style, same instruments and tempo for their song with the same A part and same B part.
That's why Direct Input instruments are a good way to go to get a unique sound. If we could get individual drum tracks that would go even further to get a unique sound, less mechanical.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
