moto. thanks for listening to my crazyness.lol. when i think how cheap chish and fips was then when i was a cockney lad growing up, compared to today. ... and of course it HAD TO be wrapped in newspaper. for some reason it tasted better that way... the better fish shops would use rich peoples newspapers like the sunday times..lmao. these days my local fish shop starts at 12 bucks.
happimess n keep rocking. om

justanoldmuso,
I think it works pretty well—not sure what “warts” you’re referring to . . . this is a pretty strong production. Cool punk song that conveys well that slice of life you were aiming to capture. Agree those drums should pop a little more, but beyond that everything seems to mesh. All the hard work paid off, IMHO. Nicely done!
Kind regards,
Deej

Deej. cheers/thanks for listening. notice how i use voc doubles ? the song drove me nuts doing it. its one of those songs that will always drive me nuts forever. lol. i'm always after perfection, but never get it.
but its been a great week, cos my team the hammers mentioned in punk city beat man utd and then beat rapid vienna, so this cockney lad is happy..lol. one hasnt lived till one has seen a hammers soccer/footie match and thousands of people in the london stadium are blowing bubbles.
best om

I enjoyed your song and the cultural lesson.
You have retained a bit of your theatricality, which makes immerses the listener into the realm of your song.
I've only been to London a few times, but would love to come back and have a pint or two there.

Hello justanoldmuso,
Interesting Song! As Ezekiel's Storm says, I also enjoyed your song and the cultural lesson. I can see you tried different things in this song. And I can see that you couldn't do some of them well and used another method to produce music that was closer to your original purpose. As others said, the sound was not punk in some places, but I enjoyed it enough.
Best regards.
Shigeki Adachi

Cool song!! Has nice authenticity to it!! I used to listen to the Pistols a bit in college, and I think you captured the vibe well!! Nice work! Take care. Greg

Ezekiel, Greg, and Shigeki. thanks for your comments. Ezekiel, if you ever visit london, a nice day out is to take ones wife on the thames from tower bridge to hampton court palace, have a nice cream tea and chase each other round the huge maze there...lol, before returning on the thames to tower bridge. there are lots of other tours too along the thames. heres a link to hampton court maze wiki. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hampton_Court_Mazeit makes a nice day out for a family. ------------------------------------------------------ well folks, just to confuse everyone for giggles i'm loading up this weekend a love song , as total contradiction to punk. probably people will say , is he nuts ? lol. just haveing fun. best to all. om

om, you had me from the first measure!
Super groove and vocal. Everything flowed perfectly.
Two thumbs up.
Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up. Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

Mario and Marty. thanks for listening and your kind comments. looking back, if i had known how much work this crazy punk song would be, not sure i would have done it. i sang in a punk band once in a previous life..lol. and its not as easy as it looks.
i did it as a catharsis i guess , as ive lost so many cockney family due to natural old age.
but i'm happy cos my hammers footie team beat everton in the premier league other day 1-0.
best/happiness om
