In the main program of band in a box, add the chord progression list.
According to the type of music, or according to the music commonly used by celebrities
It's a bit like the scaler list.
This has the advantage that you can use it immediately after you come in.
Because chord progression has a great impact on music
Different chord progression directly affects music types and personal styles
Also add some common chord progression, such as canon, 1645, etc
If there is a better one in VST.
Agreed + 1

You can drag the entire chord, or you can drag a single chord
I think this will make the software more acceptable to young people. Of course, you can also keep the direct input method.
The common chords, song chords and artist chords here will be of great help to everyone, including band in a box itself, which is more in line with the requirements of the times

Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up.
Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

It's a good idea but particularly for new users and musical novices, PG Music implemented the Song to Text feature that allows users regardless of their musical theory or knowledge to get chord progressions perhaps from online sites, copy and paste them into Notepad or any other text editor, open BIAB and after selecting all of the chords from Notepad, paste them into the BIAB song. That feature seems similar to what you're suggesting above.

I just tried BIAB's Song to Text Feature and it's easy to understand and to quickly input chords into a song project.

Here's a link to the 2021 BIAB New Features Video explaining and showing the process in detail.

The demonstration for Song to Text begins at the 60:04 mark.

Yes RapidComposer works well with Biab, Biab needs to be able to Interpret Midi Chords with the same function in the File > Import > Import Chords from MIDI file.. this will need to be added to Biab:

I think the interface of both software should be changed.
It doesn't look like 2021 Music software grin

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
