I see that Pipeline has partially answered this same question by this poster in the BIAB for Windows thread. The poster needs to give a little more information.
The way the question is worded, it appears the request could be to regenerate all of the style's tracks (the whole mix) for the specified measures rather than a single track like Pipeline answered. The poster also needs to have a version of BIAB that has Utility Tracks to use the other reply.
The work around is more involved if the poster has an older version.
Another work around is to use the MultiRiffs feature to generate 7 different variations of a particular RealTrack. Then if you like parts of one and parts of another you an export those two individual tracks and edit them together in a DAW. More info on MultiRiffs can be found in this video: https://youtu.be/1akkEAxVy2o

Good advice. One additional tip, no DAW is necessary, the generated MultiRiffs can be edited in the BIAB Audio Editor.
OK So with the help of this community and especially a veteran user pipeline, I've been clued in to a suitable method for doing exactly what I wanted.
Specifically I had a piano part that I didn't like a single measure that BIAB generated and I wanted to instruct it to re generate that single measure.
(the solution would also work for several measures.)
The following is a step by step.
Click Edit and then go down to "copy special" and click "copy/move tracks (on mine system thew window takes a while to open) see diagram 1.
choose the source and destination tracks
Click OK
In my case the Piano track has been copied to Utility 1
Click on the Utility 1 track Click “Audio” then click “audio edit”
This opens the Audio Edit window as in Diagram 2 and displays the audio on Utility 1
Click the checkbox for “snap” and highlight the measure you want to regenerate (in my case measure 3)
right click on Utility 1 track and highlight generate and then click on “select and generate real tracks”
The style window opens
Select the real track that matches the track you're replacing
I've started working with this method in earnest this morning and have come to an appreciation of re generating in the audio edit window.
Working with the waveform allows the user to pick the suitable place to begin and end re generating. Regenerating right on the bar marker might not be the best place to jump in and selecting a place sooner near a null point is smooth.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
