Hello David ...

Starts out giving me a Dylan feel, then starts sounding like a March. And then it gets as bit more melodic again. Love the lyric and your impassioned vocal seals the deal. I play enough piano to make people like Liberace want to sell theirs and take up the zither instead.

Truly one of your very best. Yeah , I liked it.

Best to you. Take care ...

Alan

David,
New passion? Good for you! Piano/keys are fantastic. Not as I can play, just dabbling, but always found it inspirational. Well produced and mixed tune. Thank you for sharing.

Wow David! This song has a heartbeat of it's own.

You really did a great job on the feel of this. The feel grabbed me and kept moving on. Love it!

Really nice use of melodic hooks too!

I know there have been many comments about the keys already; but nice job! Of course you can play those now! SMH I'm not all that surprised by you anymore. Impressive!

Keep being you David. It's fun to go along for the ride you take us on!

Hey thanks Floyd old buddy.

It is a Yamaha midi keyboard grand triggering a synth loaded with the Abbey Road grand VST from Garritan.

I LOVE that program. And I have some friends who are "real" piano players who love it too.

Thanks for the listen!

I like that prechorus. It builds nicely to the chorus, which has a nice ear-catching contrast to the PC.

We have a great friend whose son plays a lot of Elton style rhythm...hearing that here.

Of this fine production for us the write is most standout.
Really well done and thought provoking indeed.

Nice,

J&B

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
