Hi, Al.

I'm going to disagree with those detractors - you've got a very pleasant voice. On this song, at least. wink

As others have already said, a classic country song - especially the chorus! Nicely done.

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Hi David ...

Apparently you were writing this about my song at the same time I was writing about your song.

Thanks for the encouragement on the vocal. i do struggle with pitch quite often - plus I don't have a very wide range. But, I guess this one turned out better than most of them. Thanks for mentioning it. Your comments a re appreciated very much. best to you ...

Alan

Hi Ronnie ...

Great to hear from you! It's been a while. Hope all is well with you.

I'm really delighted you enjoyed your listen. Too bad there isn't more classic country to listen to. This is my contribution to the effort - glad it rings true to the era. Many thanks!

Wishing you the very best ...

Alan

A brief sojourn back to when country music was played on country radio smile

Classic country in vocal, write, tracks and arrangement all the way.

Thanks for the Mem'ry!

I thought the vocal was great. Everyone is referring to the 1970's. It just reminded me of a time when musicians could actually sing. For some reason, It reminded me of Cole Porter. Good song.

HI Billy ...

Many thanks for the great review! I appreciate your really nice comments. For me, the most enjoyable music, in almost all genres, was created and performed in the 1960s and 1970s. I was a young man back then but can still remember so much good music. I'm okay with a lot of the modern country, but my heart lies with the Classic Country.

I'm rather sure that's the first time any of my music has been correlated with Cole Porter in any way. But, I'll take it - thanks!

Thanks again! Wishing you the very best ...

Alan

Hey Gus!

Thanks a big bunch! It's very fulfilling to know my effort got the exact response I was hoping for. Classic country owns the musical part of my soul . Thanks so much for the kindness.

Wishing both of you the very best ...

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
