It's nice to see that music is the universal language all over the world. I love the melody and the strings are superb. The acoustic guitar is excellent as well!!

Nice from the start. Well produced and emotionally sung. Very pretty and heartfelt.

The acoustic guitar is as a standout.

I hope you don't mind me mentioning, because telling someone how to sing or talk is a sensitive sort of thing. But if you re-record the vocals, there are a few words you may want to work on.

"Center" needs an /r/ added to the end, or it comes out as "Santa", which had me puzzled for a moment. It doesn't have to be a hard /r/ - you use the softer British /r/ instead - but it should be there.

On "without" and "nothing", you're devoicing the /th/, so it comes out as an /s/.

Anyway, I like this song a lot. Good job! laugh

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Good song!

Good production and I like the passion in your vocal. Also like the acoustic guitar work, adding a "real" player to a BIAB production always kicks things up a notch in my opinion.

Nicely done!

Andi,

I love the intro! Great sounding mix on a beautiful song! The expressive emotion of the vocal, especially in the chorus, is very effective! Your song always sound very good! Thanks, Torrey

Hi Andy and Wolfgang,

Such a sweet song!
We love the music and the guitars are great.
Very well sung, you can hear the emotion.
Yes, it's always difficult to sing about you loved ones.

Andi, this is super. Great vocal! Your arrangement and mix are spot on, great work there. Nice guitar lead!

Two thumbs up.

Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
