Hi Torrey ...

You never fail to impress! You are truly on of the most talented music creators on the site. Your talent is seemingly endless. Superlatives that match your level of expertise are hard to find.

Love the syncopation in the chorus! A very nice write and production. Color me beyond impressed! You have a plethora of God-given talents - and use them quite nicely.

Merry Christmas and wishes for a fantastic 2022.

Alan

Peaceful and hopeful prayer, very nice intro leads to the beautifully flowing melody in the verses. All those nice arrangement details keep interest to the end. The solo sounds great, the chording is very interesting. The vocals and backing vocals, the arrangement and the mix - all are professional quality.

I was actually going to write that you put together a great band in BiaB until I read that you play everything yourself except the drums. Unbelievable !!!
And your guitar solo is absolutely top notch.

I wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year 2022.
And keep up the great song ideas

Many greetings
Andi ;-)

Thanks Andi for all the nice words! I appreciate it! T

Torrey,

A good write. Your melodies are always interesting, musical, well considered.

Really nice vocal.

Good tracks. Impressive that you are "doing it all".

A very cool solo.

Like so many of your songs/productions this takes me back to the days of listening to Todd Rundgren's Something/Anything...

A great listen.

Cool bridge!

Glad you could find one instrument to share with BiaB... although it's probably just a matter of time before you master the drums as well. wink

Lots of really neat things happening in this song! It's always great to hear one of your songs. laugh

Torrey,
Very cool tune. So well articulated! Amazing instrumentals and vocals! Very clever music. It is a pity that most of the new Pop Rock songs aired on radio are half as good as this. Maybe you should consider local broadcast station(s). Many times colleges have spots in public air waves. Enjoyed this!
Thank you for sharing and Happy new year!

Misha.

Lovely melody & arrangement with cool changes.
The 1st four lines suggest you're not quite finished with this one...the same section in V2 is better realized.
Love your work...love your voice even more.

Thanks for the listen and comments Ray! It's funny how lyrics are evaluated differently by the listener. I felt better about the first verse than I did the second. I certainly put more thought and effort into those lines than I did the second verse. I was trying to set the stage for the chorus with those lines. Take care, T

Thanks Dan! I also hope that BIAB can one day figure out how to create more realistic pushes fir the realtracks but from what I understand, it is something that is technically next to impossible to do. I could be wrong about that though. I appreciate your comments! T

What a wonderful talent, Torrey. Yes, I can imagine how difficult this song would be to convince the BiaB folks to play just right, but you have the talent to get it done on your own. An amazing write and production. Love the syncopation and every instrument adds just the right amount of brilliance to elevate this to a very high level of musical mastery. You are truly a treasure, Torrey.

Enjoy whatever happens!
