Re Realband 2022: where can I find the pg fx presets? They seem to have have disappeared. Mike
You can find the installer here: C:\bb\Data\Installers\pgdx_plug_64bit_2_0_0.exe
Try closing RealBand and running this installer. It already should have been installed by default though... Are you running RealBand64.exe?
I'm running RB64 on my D drive. I have the installers exe file above on C drive and on D drive. I ran both - and from my USB3.0 drive. I can see the effects at C:\Program Files\PowerTracks DirectX Plugins but I don't have any presets. Help, Mike
You could run a downloaded Band-in-a-Box 2022 program installer, and it will give you the Jan 2021 dated DX installer. Maybe you have an older BB Hard drive there. Or, if it's a new BB hard drive you can find the file on the hard drive in the same location.

The file on the BB hard drive is dated: 21/4/2019 (created) 1/12/2019 (modified) How do I get and run a downloaded Band-in-a-Box 2022 program installer? Mike
Maybe go to the main PGMusic site and check your account for a newer install file?
I didn't get the hard drive this year, and went with the download option instead, so I can't really check much farther than that, but my installer in C:/bb/data/installers/pgdx_plug_64bit_2_0_0.exe is dated a couple years later, which would make sense due to the switch from 32 to 64 bit I'm just guessing that you need the latest install.
Are you sure you are looking at the 64 bit and not the 32 bit installer? (the newer 64 bit has that notated in the name)
pgdx_plug_64bit_2_0_0.exe vs pgdx_plug_2_0_0.exe (note the 64bit part in the file name)
Things changed from 2019 to 2022
Make your sound your own! .. I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome
Thanks Andrew (and Rharv), I figured it out before your last message Andrew. It's a wonder you didn't hear me cheering from here. All effects and presets are right where they should be. It is a bit disappointing, though, that I wasted many hours trying to solve a problem that was caused because I was sent a USB drive that contained an out of date installer. Anyway, I'm happy now. Thanks everyone who tried to help. The PG Forum is a great community. Mike
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
