I don't want to discuss today whether BIAB can make KPOP? I also don't want to ask how the KPOP in BIAB feels different. I just saw in youtube that young people all over the world are dancing to KPOP music. Yes, all over the world. It's all young people. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jp2KW_NkppMhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJZxNAV055whttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VWjnN12Dx84https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ioNng23DkIMhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=08x_TcTyw8oMaybe some people say that they do commercial music to the extreme. Maybe some people say it's not called music at all. However, I personally still like this kind of music. So, do you like KPOP? Let's discuss it together

Sounds like 80s music to me. Kind of like 80s boy bands. Doesn't sound bad at all and generally has a good rhythm with an actual melody to it.

Of course this is music.
Of course it's commercial. They are producing it for that purpose.
As I said in another thread, this sounds to me as if it has strong roots in disco, 80s bubble gum pop, and MTV.
Will I spend any time listening to it that I don't have to? No. But I respect it as legitimate, especially for dancing. And not only young people like to dance.

I have to say that K-pop has a rather broader range then the selection here.
I like some. Most I care not about. I have a particular dislike of music where the kick drum dominates heavily and continuously.
Jazz relative beginner, starting at a much older age than was helpful. Kawai MP6, Korg M50, Ui24R, Saffire Pro 40. AVL:MXE Linux; Windows 11; Win8.1: Scarletts BIAB2022 UltraPAK, Reaper, a bunch of stuff.

A KPOP song is like any other song for me. That is I either like it or I don't care for it regardless of musician(s).
Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up. Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

Me? I don't mind some of it. There are other music styles that are a lot worse. YMMV.

1,040,491,308 views Business is Business If I made that up in Biab and got some royalties, I'd like it.
To arrange all the different parts up in Biab you would want to be able to quickly drag n drop audio and midi loops onto the track that will automatically fit to the chords and tempo, not go through a lot of dialogs and hoops before you can get a loop in a section. Might be better using the BBPlugin in your DAW to combine RT tracks with KPop loops/samples.

I don't like that one, at all, ever. Not a chance. I'm sure that much KPOP is more creative. What is good is that young people who dance to it learn lots moves and that is both good exercise for the brain and great aerobic exercise - all at the same time. Watch the first minute of the first video link from the O/P to see why there may be a sublime benefit.

I like some. Most I care not about. I have a particular dislike of music where the kick drum dominates heavily and continuously. I kind of like how Snare keeps building up in dance music. Feel the emotional orgasm coming. Maybe I like the rhythm. I grew up preferring rhythmic content. Ha ha

To paraphrase R Heinlein: "90% of the KPOP is rubbish. But then again, 90% of all music is rubbish." I think this kind of music interaction feels good. KPOP rhythm is really good.

K-POP is as much about the artist performance as it is about the song. That's one reason it is so popular.
The most popular K Pop group in the US is BTS. Some of the members speak English well. They are so popular they have been featured in television commercials.

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option
Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!
Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
