I have several orchestral sample libraries and synths.
Kontakt, GPO, Mirislav, E/W Silver.... that I can recall. I haven't used any of them in a fairly long time. I just don't write the kind of music that requires an orchestra anymore.

Spitfire Audio do a lot of excellent libraries, some very pricey but wonderful. Check out the budget Originals libraries, they are great value and sound amazing.

Orchestral libraries are an area one can spend a fortune on and still not get what you really wanted. IMHO the real trick is to get a reasonable library. Each has its pros and cons. Once you have a library learn it, this takes time. Set up templates to help. Learn all the articulations of your library also learn the limitations. I have Miroslav (never use it). I also VSL Synchron Big Bang, VSL Smart Orchestra, and more VSL Synchron Libraries (these I use a fair bit). Also Ostinato Strings (good for generating parts I might use on other instruments). Also LA Scoring Strings (very powerful and allows divisi) played with but not used really. I have a number of other libraries I either bought or were free but it is all a very steep learning curve.
Most of the complexity is in how to get at and use the sometimes hundreds of articulations. However setting up key maps and templates helps a bit but there is definitely no one size fits all.
Learning various Orchestras is very time consuming but can be fun just don’t think you can buy an Orchestral Library and get the best out of it. Learning Orchestral Libraries also gives one a better knowledge on how to use and or get more out of many other non Orchestral VSTs.
