Blue Water Beach

You are sitting on a beach watching blue water waves hitting the nearby rocks. Some waves come in fast and furious, slowly dissipating onto the rocks. While some white cap further out in the sea and just ripple onto the rocks. (Hopefully I have emulated that with volume). Either way you are mesmerized.

BiaB Style = BossaBrushesFull
Tempo = 58 BPM

Piano - EZ Keys - Dream Machine - preset - 70s Pop
Strings - Kontakt Kirt Hunter Virtuoso strings
Strings 2 - I use Uchord to generate this track-Amadeus - full string ensemble and Kontakt - Solid State Orchestra
NOTE I slightly modified both string tracks
Drums - Steven Slate SSD5
I am playing my Xaviere humbucker guitar and SX fretless bass and via my wind controller the alto sax, Swam alto Sax 3 - warm.

FX - Raum reverb on all but the bass and drum tracks
Bass - Amplitube 5 - preset - Brit 8000 added chorus, Waves JJB Bass and Bass Rider
Alto sax and guitar - Delay

As always all comments welcomed

Some absolutely gorgeous tone colors in here, Mario. The opening windy notes drew me in immediately (and nice move with the 2nd part doing that echo.) I would give the less striking strings less prominence, or make them something else; they pull things in a more generic direction that sounds to me almost like a competition I wish they would lose. Listening again, I really really like the interplay between the winds and the bass. Lovely stuff.

Man, that is a great sound Mario. I've listened to it a few times now and each time it makes me feel like closing my eyes and drifting away. Very impressive.

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Hi, Mario. When I first came to the forum this morning I saw you had another one here, and knew it was going to be a good day. Man, you play such a warm and wonderful sax, AND you don't have to endure that tickling reed. Everything sounds so good together. Often I type comments while listening, but with your tunes, it's like patting my head while rubbing circles on my stomach. Your stuff is mesmerizing, Mario. Your titles always seem the perfect match for the music, too.

Enjoy whatever happens!

I glad I wore the headphones for this. The effect of the stereo spread especially with the sax on the left and right "speaking to each other." Very nice!!! Pleasant and tranquil aural beach picture.

Love your stuff Mario...I'm a sucker for ethereal pieces that take me on a trip to a soothing place...each layer is so tastefully applied and evokes a contemplative and meditative mood!

FYI: the cut I listened to cut off abruptly at the end...a gentle fade would be nice

Lush and lovely!

We're more mountain than beach folks and it works perfectly for a mountain stream that emulates the white caps.

We love reading your posts and trying to figure out what the heck you do and how you do it so well. At least we have learned what a wind controller is.

Great!

This thing has been haunting my hypnagogic states. I think I should apologize to the strings, they are why I'm listening again right now. I wanted to hear that color again.

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
