Good day all
I am experiencing an issue where when I copy an audio track and paste it to a utility track the length of the wav file extends and stretches.
For example I will copy 2 bars of an organ section at measure 1 and 2 and when I paste into the utility track at bar 1 the wav file stretches and now becomes 2 and a half in length and now covers bars 1, 2 and half of 3.And the timing of the chord changes are now all off.
Is there a setting I can adjust or am I missing something? Hopefully I have explained my problem clearly.

… There's something missing but I don't think we have enough info to see it. Please tell us exactly what you are trying to do. Don't leave out any details. We need to duplicate your method and see if we come up with the same results—or don't.

Hi there
Thank you for the reply. I think the program is glitching on me because sometimes it works and then sometimes not.
I will try and explain best I can. I will generate an organ track with the BPM set to 95, and then I will copy the first 2 measures of that track and paste it to a utility track. So I am copying measures 1 and 2.
Now when I paste the track onto the utility track the length of the wav file covers measures 1, 2 and half of 3. It's like the wav file has been stretched somehow.
I attempted numerous time to copy and paste always with the same result. So I shut down my computer re-booted everything and then it began copying correctly. For awhile anyway and then the weird stretching thing happened again.
I just close the program and open it up again and that seems to solve the issue for the most part. Anyhow, thank you again for the reply. I don't know what else I can add to the explanation.
I guess no one else has experienced this...

Hello FireitUP!!!,
Are you experiencing this on all songs or tracks that you copy, or has it just been on this song? Does the track audibly stretched or is it just copying more than you have selected?

You mentioned you are using 2021, but what OS are you using on your Mac as well? This is good for us to know.

Thank you for the reply, it happens on and off for all the songs I work on. You can hear that the track is audibly stretched. It's copying the same amount that I have selected.However when pasted it seems as if the tempo of the utility track has changed.
I checked to make sure that the utility track is set to the same tempo. It's just weird.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first?
