Ok, I realise this analogy perhaps may not register all that well with the 'PG forum user' demography but here goes:

On my Football Manager I've come to fully expect that I could buy any newly introduced player and use in my version of the game even if that particular game's version predates the player's introduction. Ok, so maybe he'd have attributes in a newer version of the game which mine still doesn't account for, or something like that, but to be flat out unusable altogether would be considered an utterly ridiculous business strategy.
And yet, that is precisely how things are today with PG's program regarding its add-ons. Even some of the newer midi-only styles get objected to by the program if it's older than the style - This needs to change!


There's only one thing to do in crisis like this - Sleep on it!
