I agree with the above comments. And, how about adding vocal backing real tracks? Others have commented on that, too. And some scat vocals. One suggestion to the programmers would be to take a listen to some of the high-end auto-arranger keyboards to check-out their sounds and styles. I use some of those keyboards, but much prefer BIAB.

I agree with all the above.
Yes, nice to have string ensemble backing Real Tracks. Suitable for all different styles.
(Not just the occasional solo fiddle in a few country styles.)
Vocal backgrounds would be nice too, but far more complicated. (I guess there could be some with aahs, others with ooos, etc. )

Any chance of this--real strings?
(There could also be individual instruments like cello, but most importantly a whole string section.)
It would not have to be associated with a particular style, or go with drum or guitar tracks, or anything like that. Just long-held string chords, that could be used with any style.
Strings are so hard to emulate well with MIDI, this would really be a great use of the Real Instrument concept.
(IMO, we don't really need thousands more Real Country styles, which seems to be the trend. But something like Real Strings would be fantastic.)
Same thing with vocal backgrounds. One poster here wrote "scat vocals". I think that might be hard to emulate. But what about long held vocal chords, available in Aahs and oos, just female, just male, or mixed?
Add-ons like Real Strings and Real Vocals would truly be a breakthrough, and probably bring many new users to BIAB.

Actually i find strings very easy to play with midi, there are tons available out there, some great some not so, but a simple string track in the back ground, there are so many it is crazy.
Lenovo Win 10 16 gig ram, Mac mini with 16 gig of ram, BiaB 2022, Realband, Harrison Mixbus 32c version 9.1324, Melodyne 5 editor, Presonus Audiobox 1818VSL, Presonus control app, Komplete 49 key controller.

But a "real" cello has an expressiveness that MIDI just doesn't achieve. A solo cello is a beautiful sound. IMO.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
