My favorite of yours.

Well sung.
Excellent BAND. Good solo! (and cool Bass, of course).
Excellent mix.

Like it. Like it. Like it!!!

Thanks you, Thank you. Thank you, Floyd. Your inspiration is never-ending. I thought of you often when writing this one. So much so that if I ever made any money on it, you'd get half. O' course half o' nothin' ain't much, but my gratitude is infinte.

Rob and Anne-Marie

Thanks you guys. Rob, I can't mention this enough, but you did an outstanding job mixing Andi's song. Such variety of sounds to work with, and you brought them all together so well.

Your voice does have the right edge to it on this song - well done virus!
A good narrative...we all live with regrets and pressing the END button these days, which seems to happen far too easily, compounds the problem.
A sad story wrapped in a very comfy arrangement & melody.
Nothing superfluous...nothing missing.
VERY cool.

Thanks so much, Ray. Hey, I like your vocals. You don't need to act because you're good right out of the gate. [A Kentucky Derby reference.]

Outstanding lyrics

Your best to date

Thanks, Mario. Well-placed on the timeline, man. I was thinking pre-Beatles, around the time they were partying in Hamburg.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Wrong to write ... mega cool.

A new and clever take on remorse.

And we get to see the sentimental side of Babu.

Fine vocal, bass, and mix --- no surprises there smile

Well done in both the audio and video departments!

Loved the vocal Marty. Delicate delivery. So appropriate for your lyric. Excellent story telling. So much emotion. Lovely backtrack to frame vocal. the intro and guitar break was excellent as well.

The soundcloud version sounded my better than the youtube link.

I was thinking if it could have been nice if you sang this song in a collaboration with Deej. He has that tremelo you were trying to achive. Both your voices could sound great in the chorusses, don't you think?
But without his vocals I still enjoyed your song a lot!
Is she back yet?

Hans

Thanks, Hans. Good suggestion about asking Deej. I love his voice. But I'll admit I'm confused about what you're saying about Dave's comment...

...and this didn't help me understand:

Thanks, Dave. But are you saying I'm not very good at writing the music part? hehe

Lyrics with wit and emotion. It was right to write such a beautiful ballad. I really enjoyed the mourning and regret in your voice. The cello gives nice depth to the mood. Excellent solo writes all the right notes.

Marty,
Super tune. Sad, yet listens very easy. Excellent vocals. Clever progression. Mix is top notch. Some good things come out even out of stomach flu...Who knew. Liked it! Thank you for sharing.

Misha.

P.S. I need some of those vitamins you are taking.

Thanks, Scott. Yes, unfortunately YT really compresses the track, and sometimes the video distracts appreciation of the music. Thanks for your comments!!

Thanks, Janne. Glad you notice the regret and mourning. Yeah, that subtle cello seems to make a loud statement to me, too.

Thanks, Misha. Yes, the stomach flu gave it that edge of sleeplessness caused by crying or something.

What a pretty song Marty! You did a super job with vocals and bass! That cello following along tracing the melody really sounds good! You always do great work! Thanks, Torrey

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
