Hello friends I thank all those who encouraged me for Carlos Amigos and congratulate all those who brilliantly took up the Santana challenge. This stimulated me to offer you a new challenge for a song in the style of Gary Moore in a slow tempo ballad. It is called Eurotopia. https://soundcloud.com/user-294987337/eurotopia-mp3https://youtu.be/7uXw5GlSCDAStyle: _BOND.STY (Bond Fusion Ballad) RealTracks in this Style Style: 1398:Bass, Electric, Soul 70s A-B DblCrch Bin 00 RealTracks in this Style Style: ~1639:Piano, Electric, Rhythm Jazz Funk Breezy DblCrch Bin 75 RealTracks in this Style Style: 1840:Synth Pad, Modern Pop Soft Groove DblCrch Bin 75 RealTracks in this Style Style: 3949: Guitar, Electric, Rhythm Fusion Ballad 16th Ev 80 Loop in Song: Loops PAK 1\Funk\Drums, Acoustic, FunkBreakBongosA-B Ev16 100.wav Loop in song: Chillout\Chillout - serenity_66_percussion_f_minor ev16.wav RealDrums [in this Style:LoungePop16thsSput^1-a:Closed Hi-Hat, Snare, b:Ride, snare I make the guitar in cubase with amplitube5

Tres bien!!! C'est le pied!! So, I will enter this challenge though no one has tried to outfox me on my Al Di Meola challenge. C'est dommage. BUT, I have a hardcore heavy metal challenge I plan to start as well. Speed picking in death metal. Maybe Herb Hartley will challenge me on this one, if he is man enough. We will see. I will do this too though. Viva la revolution! I fear nothing!!

Nice playing on this, and I like the melody. Guitar is a little buried in the mix in spots in my opinion.

Hello Laurent Welcome to the forum Your song sounds quite good Maybe you should pay more attention to your guitar sound It is a little bit lost in the song And guitarists like Santana and Gary Moore are among the best guitarists ever on this planet. I think it is questionable to start challenges in their name. But this is my opinion Many greetings Andi ;-)

Another masterful delivery.
Great use of the lead guitar, although perhaps the song is a little too long? But maybe it was intended this way?

Thank you for the compliments a theme might have been enough, I agree and for solos how to bring a dynamic progression that does not repeat itself, it is certainly the secret of great musicians. Laurent

Laurent ...
Very tasty, although the guitar could be a little more forward (louder) in the mix. I'm a huge Gary Moore fan - "Still Got The Blues" being my favorite from him. You have a very similar sound. Very nice execution on the guitar. I enjoyed it a lot.
Alan

Thanks again for the encouragement. I did not take up the Al Di Méola challenge because it seemed superhuman to me. In composition, precision and speed of play it was beyond me but I love it in dark eye tango. Laurent

Thanks very much I may be going to redo the mix to increase the guitar, but I'm still a novice in the field. Laurent

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
