They're Coming on Soundcloud
They're Coming on YouTube

Here's a funky one where Dave once again shines. It's a song about... well nothing really. Just wanted to do a funky one, and they don't have to make sense. All comments and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Style is _FUNKORG.STY (Funk Organ w/ Pulse Rhythm)

They're Coming

They're coming when you're sleeping in your cozy bed inside.
They're coming here to get you somehow so there's nowhere you can hide.
You hear them when you're dreaming in the safety of your bed.
They're coming here to mess with all the crazy thoughts within your head.

CH: Oh, they're coming so get ready. You've got to be prepared.
They're coming so get used to it. Don't just sit there scared.
They're coming after you. They're coming next for me. So beware!

You stepped inside their secrets. Now they're coming to get paid.
They just want to see what you got to give so don't be so afraid.
They know you made some money on the making of your move
They just want to dip their hands inside the pocket of your grove. CH

BR: They're coming after midnight. They're coming through the floor.
They're coming after something sweet, then look for something more.
And if you stop to ask them why they coming here at all, they'll simply look at you and say, "Pay!" --That's all.
SOLO - BR

They come disguised as grizzly bears or snakes up in the trees.
They're coming for their piece of pie and leaving none for me.
I'm afraid I've gotta say that they're coming here today
So let's be clear they're coming here, so don't try to run away. CH - END

Enjoy whatever happens!

Man, I love this tune Marty! Your bass playing in this is fantastic! I cannot over emphasize how great a team that you and Dave make! His guitar in this is smokin' with some killer parts! Your vocal is also super! I always look forward to hitting the play button on your tunes! Thanks, T

Marty / Dave,
Funky stuff! I was certain it would be about zombies smile
Really, with minor lyric changes it could make a Halloween hit.

Excellent composition, bass playing and vocals. David's guitars are great! Crisp mix, listens very well. Thank you for sharing.

Marty & Dave,
Excellent funkadelic feel that makes all those warnings in the lyrics just another reason to dance.
A good band that veers into awesome when Dave lets rip; you guys sound great together!

The song may not be about much. But it sure has a class of its own. Excellent bass playing, and Dave's powerful (Michael Schenker style) guitar leads take it to another level.

Hi Marty and Dave,

This is what I wrote on your YouTube channel: Why you call this 'nothing'? A delicious funky song! And I thought it were a bunch of cats you were singing about. The lyrics fit perfectly how these hungry creatures behave. But I love them, and that's the same with your song. Very nice, with a gorgeous solo and dealing with nothing...

And I think I don't add more to it. You both did a great job, but that's what you always do. At least in my opinion.

Nice day,
Hans

Thanks, OM. I often compare Dave to Slowhand because he can play any style and make it sound better.

Haha. Thanks, Misha. The zombies were in the video --especially right at the very end. Ha! That reminds me of whenever someone approached the stage to ask for a song, I'd always say, "Oh, yeah, good one. We do that toward the end. Stick around."

Thanks, Dave. I realize I often give you songs that as you say are not in your wheelhouse, but the most fun ones are like these when we get to jam a bit.

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
