GET TOGETHER This is a cover of an all-time favorite of mine from 1967 by the Youngbloods. I used the BIAB Pop Rock Basic drums for this. I had to edit them in several places, but it was worth the effort! BIAB's drums have a live feel that I just don't find in other drum products! I played all the other instruments for this one. Guitar tracks were recorded with a Peerless Cremona archtop and I also added a couple of Fender telecaster rhythm tracks. Bass track was an older Peavey Foundation. Piano and organ tracks were from a Yamaha keyboard. Proper licensing for the video secured through WATH (We Are The Hits). Thanks for taking time to check it out.

One of the anthems from the turbulent 60's.
Great job all around Torrey.
https://soundcloud.com/user-646279677BiaB 2024 Windows For me there’s no better place in the band than to have one leg in the harmony world and the other in the percussive. Thank you Paul Tutmarc and Leo Fender.

Torrey, Nice work on this- you have that lovely guitar part down & vocals are excellent! its been years since I heard them, but the Youngbloods were one of my favourites;their Darkness,Darkness is still close to the top of my all time list.

I remember playing that on the piano back in the day. I was a young piano student in those days. It was about the time I was starting to pick up the guitar.....
Nice work

Well done, Torrey.
Those drums sound great. Nice job on the guitars and bass. Good vocals and BGVs.
A classic, for sure.

I used to play a little Folk club in Bristol, Pa.(The Cellar)where Jesse Colin Young played a lot, when he was just a modest folksinger. You did well with this one, man. Regards, Bob

An extraordinary cover.
This shows a massive effort in perfecting the original.
Definitely it doesn't disappoint.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
