Cool tune and great video.

One thing is for certain.... you can't do anything on a dime with a bike..... turning, stopping, nothing. Bad things happen when you attempt it.

I like the juking feel to the song. Nicely done. My only nit was that the vocal sounded a bit too grungy and it's noticeable right from the count in. Like there's a tad too much saturation on them. In the song it's not as noticeable and gets along better.

All in all, another great song from you guys.

Great idea for the video! What a killer track to back it all up! I've got no doubt that Janice could keep up with all the 20 something year olds out there! Great guitar work by Peter btw! Bud, you always knock it out of the park on these productions!

Thanks, Torrey

Surely You see the reward in your tolerance, Janice. {Psst. I know your man is exaggerating wink }. You guys are the masters of teamwork.

We could not ask for more Marty.

You generously commented on everything we had worked to achieve.

And , Bud here, Janice’s “tolerance” is based on her modesty regarding her singing and video appearances! I keep saying go for it smile

Hey team.
Refreshing and fun tune. Amazing vocals, guitars, lyrics, all bits fit like a puzzle. Excellent video with some breathtaking images. Arrangement and mix is super crisp, listens very well. Congrats to all of you and thank you for sharing!

Misha.

P.S. Blue bike looks very cool. I love bikes, but I know that if I try hard trail, I will definitely break some part of my body, so just casual rides for me smile

Thanks Herb. Glad you liked it. You are right about the tape sat but that's, for this tune, what we wanted. A bit of overdriven grit and grunge to go with the" rubber on the dirt" mountain biking vibe. So actually we are glad you noticed it smile You do have a great ear for such. BTW we rarely vary our "standard" Janice vocal settings of two minor EQ bumps > light compression > light reverb > infrequent delay. Been using it since the analogue days.

Great fun!!! Enjoyed the song AND the video. I get queasy at the very mention of the word "exercise", haha, so I'm very impressed by that side of things, too - and I mean that :-) Well done ... another good song to add to your catalogue :-)

Thank you Torrey. Back when were were racing Janice would often place in the top three and the other women on the podium frequently looked like they could be her children smile

Smoking intro, smoking vocals & guitar, and smoking song (and I'm not advocating nicotine.)
I enjoyed the biking photos too.

We are happy it all worked for you.

And "super rockin' blues" is greatly appreciated as it could not better describe our production hoped for goals.

Yeah! Love the video, both the stills and the live footage. Pretty amazing skills I think!

And I love the song too, lots of fun.

Janice always sounds great, as does Peter, lots of great, smokin', guitar on this one (love the double stops, Peter)

Good write and production, Bud.

Another winner you three!

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
