Wow! I love this! You guys make a great team! I think this is the first time I've ever heard Di sing, and man what a voice! This couldn't have been an easy one to sing, and she does it so well. I'm used to the quality of your instrumentals being so good, but put together with her voice and the writing in this song .. it's stellar. You made the right decision in keeping that banjo, it adds a lot. I really hope Di gets better, I want to hear some more. Whether she gets her voice back or not though, you guys make a great team, so even if life changes the game, keep playing it together! You guys are great. Hi Brad ... Maany thanks for all the very nice words. We both appreciate them very much. I doubt Di will improve enough to sing as she once did. Her health is very poor and probablt won't get much better. She no longer has the lung capacity or general strength. It's a shame - make me very sad. We have quite a few songs of her singing, but we can't post them here as many of them were recorded over a different music generation program. And BIAB doesn'y have comparable tracks in most instances. We;'ve posted 4 or 5 that were created in BIAB. From time to time I'll repost one. Smooth Jazz, Big Band, and Variopusl Latin sub-genres are her best. Glad yopu like the banjo. Folks love it or hate it. But the weight falls on the side of love it! Many thanks! Best to you ... Alan

I would have never guessed that Di's voice and a banjo would be compatible but you proved me wrong!
She sure did have a fantastic voice.

Tell Di that she is in our prayers. Hi Mario ... Ha ... she does some Blugraa music, too. She actually worked very nicely with banjos and fiddles. She was a multi-genre vocalist. Thanks for all ther nice commentds. And I'll pass your thoughts on to her. Thanks, again! Alan

Alan...it's great to hear Di singing...I love your arrangement...the banjo's and rock guitar combination are really cool...kind of a "newgrass" sound...I'm writing this and whispering a prayer for you and Di as you traverse a difficult valley...loved the song...all my best...Dan PS...The software Audacity (a free download) https://www.audacityteam.org/download/ will allow you to slow down/speed up, change pitch, etc...it's a great tool...you could slow by 5 bpm without a hitch...play with it...it's fun and a great tool...I use it all the time to make speed variations in songs or stretch notes, etc...I love it! Hi Dan ... Always a pleasure when you drop in for a listen. As fara s the sound, b ack in the early and mid 90s there were two groups I really liked: 1) The Newgrass Revival and 2) Nickel Creek. I was never as big fasn of the traditional Blugrass sound - Bill Monroe and the like. But those two groups remolded Bluegrass and I love what the did. I'm also a fan of Alison Kraus and Union Station . I've been using Audacity since about 2010 or 2011. I can slow the music down, but I don't have the original stems - just the final stereo mix-down. Even if Isis have the stems, Di's health wouldn't allow her to resing it. But thanks for the thought. FWIW, Everything I've posted in this forum has beem recorded on Audacity. Again, many thanks and we appreciate the prayers. We are Christains but don't make a big deal of it publicly. Alan

Firstly, thanks for reposting this. We've been around the forum since 2012 ... it flies by. Di and a banjo ... it fits the earlier Taylor vibe perfectly. Nice write, production. And the vocals? Yeah man and lady  -- it was great hearing Di! They are excellent! Most enjoyable, J&B
