This is EnergyXT 2.0 32bit Plugin running in Reaper under JBridge. This is direct from frozen track sections in a BB SGU, the source files were added and any sections were transpose same as original. The WAV Instructions load quickly in the Plugin and it plays back the original RT RD file sections on the external USB hard drive in a 32bit Plugin inside Reaper. The BBPlugin could easily do the same ! so in a few secs you will have the generated tracks playing direct in the DAW, NO wav files whatsoever created. If I'm happy with the tracks I can leave it as it is and Render a mixdown in the DAW without creating any wav files at all ! if I want to create physical wav files to drag into the DAW I render the tracks sections data to wav. This would solve THE biggest issue with the BBPlugin (bbw4 slow asss rendering in the background) As mentioned before, if Biab would write a BBoutput.txt file with all the Wav Instructions for all current tracks each time it generates anything this will cut out the middle men. This would give an easy way to get all Biab tracks into Reaper instantly and bbw4 could just create the BBoutput.txt rather than messing around for ages rendering wav files, so the BBPlugin will read the BBoutput.txt same as EnergyXT and play all the tracks instantly. The BBPlugin would then play frozen SGU from the main Biab identically. So if you open a frozen SGU from Biab it will play exactly the same instantly in the DAW playing the exact same sections. Changing, adjust any section or adding more instruments would be instant without having to re-render all new wavs. Watch Video: https://www.dropbox.com/s/p0v2u0t5gouft3i/Reaper-BB-Wav-Sections-32bit-Plugin-Playback.mp4?dl=0 This is the same way Reaper can play back a frozen SGU: Zoom++ This is the track data Reaper reads and loads each section in Reaper (above) INSTANTLY: Riff # Summary RiffHasData SourceWAVFileName SourceWAVFileTempo SourceBarNumber SourceBeatNumber SourceTimeSig SourceStartTimePPQ1200 *SourceBar *SourceTick(120) SourceTickOffsetPPQ1200 SourceEndTimePPQ1200 *Tick Duration120(calc) *Beats Duration (calc) SourceEndRiffStretchAmountPPQ1200 SourceEndRiffTransitionAmountPPQ1200 DestinationStartTimePPQ1200 *Chord *Bar Destination *Beat Destination *Tick Destination120 TranspositionSemitonesRequired ThisRiffIsaPush1200 ThisRiffNumber RiffNoneHoldShot RiffHoldsLibraryNumber ThisIsaPush ThisisDrums RiffdbOffset RiffSoloistNumber RiffThisRiffStartShouldBeMergedWithEndOfPreviousOne RiffIsUnknownMonoStereo RiffIndexFromMultipleRT RiffMultipleRealTracksNumber AnyLoopActive AnyLoopRestartLoopWhenWavEnds AnyLoopBaseTempo AnyLoopNumberOfBeats AnyLoopTransposeAmount AnyLoopStretchTempo AnyLoopTranspose AnyLoopOriginalKeyMod ChordLoopActive ForceUsePlusMinusRealtracks RiffPanning RiffInstructionFutureBytes

My 2023 resolution is to follow all of your posts ... and try read your old ones. Make sure to also read posts by Solidrock and Pipeline. Musocity is just the latest username used in the forum throughout the years. He has presented many ideas and suggestions to PG Music over the years. He is also quick with suggestions to help users overcome obstacles they encounter while using Band-in-a-Box.

You should be including yourself in such recommendation ... as you have frequently been a great source of help to me in my recent time here. Be that as it may, I certainly appreciate your additional recommendations!

What Jim was saying was the Pipeline, Musocity, and I think Solidrock, are all the same person who's account has changed over time, for various reasons.

Thanks, Gordon.
I did miss that.
But name change or not, Jim is also a tremendous asset to these forums. I will not recant!

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option
Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!
Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
