Hello Friends,

Happy New Year. This is my 3rd song posting on BIAB.

On You Tube/ God Is Faithful cheryl anne and Randy Kras

On Soundcloud/ God is Faithful cheryl anne and Randy Kras

I had a little set back with the brain injury, however, I met a musician who enjoys using BIAB as much as i do. His name is Randy Kras. We wrote this song together. i used BIAB as the start of the song and Randy added his guitar. Since we are both dealing with real life, we thought it was only fitting to remind ourselves and others that God is Faithful.
Our song is based on: 1 Corinthians 1:9 God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Video was made using Smart Show 3-D.

We hope this song is a blessing and encouragement to you. Thank you for listening, have a blessed month.cheryl anne

Pleasant melody, nice backing - nice job by you and Randy.

Some unasked for comments - feel free to ignore! laugh

* Dropping the instruments out at the end and keeping the vocal didn't quite work for me.
* More rhymes in the verse, please.
* More bass - I can barely hear the bass run at the end of the verse.

Sorry about your setback, glad you were able to meet up with Randy.

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

cheryl anne and Randy...I would reiterate David's thoughts and comments about the bass and rhyme scheme...your vocal is beautiful and the theme of the song is timeless and true...the melody is quite lovely but if your willing to say, "it's not quite there yet" then IMHO I would work on a consistent rhyme pattern and the syllable count in some of the lines...without a doubt "God is Faithful!"

Cheryl Anne and Randy,

This is a very good song and your productions are improving. Personally, I think what makes this song standout are first, the message is right on the money and second, the way you sing it. It's obvious you've been through it and know that it's on the money. I think that both David and Dan have got some great observations that will take this song, and it's message, even further. I'm sorry that both of you are having to deal with difficult issues, but just keep holding on to the message in your song - God is faithful!

I like the song, good choice of instruments and production wise it's a big improvement over your first songs.
I agree with what others are saying that there is almost no bass.
Your vocals could be a bit more dynamic, but I don't know if your health problems allow it, so feel free to ignore that if there's a problem with that.

Cheryl and Randy, this is a fantastic song.
Outstanding lyrics and vocal; loved the message.
I do agree with David and Dan.

IMHO this is a fantastic song that just needs a little polish to take it over the top.

PS - I pray that you and Randy are getting better each day.

Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up.

Hi David,
Thank you for taking time to listen to God is Faithful.
I appreciate the feed back.
I am So blessed to have met Randy, we are learning BIAB together.
I had a really rough month, but I just got my 6th doctor and we have 3 new medicines, so maybe I can learn some more things in BIAB with Randy's help, after the brain un-swells..
I have passed this link to him, so we can try working on these items in the future.
Have a great week, thank you again, cheryl anne

Hi Dan,

Thank you for listening to God is Faithful. Yes Randy and I will implement the suggestions given. Hopefully each time our songs will get better.

6th doctor and now 3 new medicines. I hope to learn more BIAB, after swelling goes down some.

I gave my all singing, while in pain, but i think as i get better, (with out pressure in head) I think it will improve some. I felt like i was off some.

I figure since God is Faithful, I can at least try to be.
My goal is to try to post one song a month. With what ever God gives me.

Thank you for listening and writing. Have a blessed week, cheryl anne

You and Randy created a lovely song. The sparse instrumental background works well and others have already given some constructive feedback.

We can hear your improvements with BiaB in each new song and having met Randy we’re sure you’ll continue successfully.

We hope your road to recovery is better each day.

Hi cheryl anne
Melody moves along nicely in all 3 sections.
I’m finding the lead vox, which is nicely delivered, a little too prominent in the mix.
Lots of repetition in the lyric, which I like (recommended if you want people to remember your song)
Love the pauses!
I wouldn’t want to comment on the subject matter and start a huge row here!
I think this one could end quite happily at the 3:18 pause (in fact I thought it had!).

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
