Fun! laugh

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Peter & Leon,

A very catchy song. Good write.
The references to 60's Radio Pop are appropriate...
That repeating guitar lick serves both of those purposes well.
Nice mix.
Good vocals. Janice's harmonies are a perfect fit.

Peter,

Great 60’s folk sound here . . . very appealing to the ear and gravitating melody. Sad thematically, but well executed in the write. Terrific harmonies, catchy chorus. Liked this one a lot. Good stuff!

All my best to you,

Deej

I agree and will add Peter and Gordon.
Super groove and fantastic vocals and the usual outstanding mix.
Great lyrics also.

You and Janice did a very good job here.
The lyrics are not giving much hope on love, but I think singing that is hoping for the opposite, isn't it? (only in this case!)

And I was glad you used the sitar too, though a little modestly, yet...

Have a nice day,
Hans

Thanks Hans

I'm not a fan of the sitar in the intro, but it works quite well in the outro.

And of course the chorus and Janice harmonies are the icing on the cake.
I would have loved to have her in the verses after the first chorus, but I guess she gets a lot of requests and the day only has 24 hours.

Overall, everyone involved did a great job smile

Thanks for the comments appreciate them.

The Variax is nice and versatile and makes recording easy by not having to change guitars around.

I feeling all gushy about this one. Fantastic song! This is one of my favorite genres. And you have done it well.

Vocals are one of Leon's best, and Janice's harmony is perfect for the chorus.

Love the 12-string sound!!!

Happy love song with a dark tone, makes me smile.
The intro reminds me of The Beatles and the 60's feel is present pleasantly.
Very enjoyable chorus with nice wistful melody and chording.
Good band, guitars sparkle nicely and sitar fits well also.
Good vocals, Leon's and Janice's voices blend together beautifully.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
