We had a very good discussion about this one back in Mar of this year, and Peter Gannon joined the discussion with several posts, (thanks Peter for taking the time to weigh in).

We should have a converter, that takes any style and changes it (save-as) from 8th note based to 16th (or vice versa). Then all of the bluegrass styles would be available as 8th or 16th. I'll add that to the todo list.

I agree that most of the sheet music bluegrass songs are notated as 8ths

Hopefully the solution there is for us to make both 8th note an 16th note versions of the bluegrass type styles, so that people can choose which one they want. (fiddle music also works like this, the sheet music is typically 8th notes, but BB (and some players) think about it as 16ths).

Can Peter, or anyone else at PG tell me if this is something that will be adressed in the next update? If it will be, you'll make an old picker and long time BIAB user very happy.

Thanks,
Bob
