Cool mashup! Janice was envisioning a dance scene full of dancers in the street like one from the musical, West Side Story. The soloist guitar matches the angry (or maybe unsettled) mood sound from the singers very well. Well done with the singers and the mix. That very small event inspired a very large production! Impressive! J&B

Yes Janne. It's pretty wild and a lot going on. Nice guitar solo.
Vic Thanks Vic for your kind comment It is fun to make wilder and more energetic songs as a counterweight to lighter and slower songs. My next one will be lighter, I suppose... Janne

Nice rhythmic arrangement - and good job making Kevin sound less like Kevin. Fun listen! Thanks David for your kind feedback Glad to hear it didn't sound too much like normal Kevin, I used quite big gender and breathiness values. And lots of belt. Janne

Hi jannesan,
I didn't know you in that flamenco style. Beautiful intensity and pleasant atmosphere in the rhythm. It's original. I don't know the synths you use but the sound is nice. Well done.

A little too busy for my personal taste, but you did a great job of arranging all the percussion elements into a transparent soundscape. Great driving rhythm. I would prefer the solo guitar to be less lo-fi to fit better with the rest, but that's my only nit. Well done! Thanks B.D. for your kind comment I have no tempo limits, after 65 BPM song I gave you 130 BM song. And the next candidate will be 90 BPM, so I hope you get used to these sudden changes The lo-fi guitar was dirtier on purpose, for the sake of eruption of anger. Janne

Janne, An irresitible drive to this- love the flamenco guitar and layered percussion. The lyric subject is more nuanced than the music and held my attention because of the contrast. Great production and your vocaloid skills are in evidence. Very cool music!
Robert Thanks Robert for your kind words, I'm glad you liked the drive Janne

This is a fun upbeat song, very creative with Kevin and his girlfriend And the lyrics express the awkward situation that sometimes arise. An enjoyable listen, great job. Thumbs up for your positive comment, Mr. Thumper Janne

J.
really liked the 'groove' of this.
a very festive sound. this song kicks 'A' imho.
really liked the femme bgv's.
only thing i might suggested is a cleaner lead gtr sound picture. but thats personal taste.
happiness
om Thanks om for your nice review Glad you liked the groove. Yep, the lead guitar sound is a matter of taste, I wanted it to be muddy to reflect the frustration of the story teller. Janne

J&B Thanks Janice and Bud for listen and comment, always pleasure to read how you have paid attention to the details That dance scene sounds interesting, I could use that for a video, although I feel that then the song should be more musical then, closer to West Side Story... Janne,
A very enchanting fusion of flamenco and EDM. The modulations are wonderful. You're getting better at using vocal synths every day. Your intention to make Synthesizer V Solaria to sound like a wicked lady is successfully done. Enjoyed my listen a lot.
Best regards.

Shigeki Adachi Thanks Shigeki Adachi for your pleasant words I'm glad you approved my intentions. And I'm really glad you noticed the modulations, I don't use modulation often, but interestingly here I'm going both up and down. Janne

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
