I haven`t seen a Bond movie in a while, so this must have started with a different spy for inspiration. Its the second Spirit Level Bond tune- "Spellbound" was our first a few years back. Production on this belongs to Scott. Hello Robert & Scott. I always enjoy your level of spirit and how it raises the spirit in me. Cool opening. I enjoy your unique style of singing, Robert, and it's no secret how much respect I have for Scott's ability. You guys got down to the very essence of what it takes to be a spy AND what it takes out of the spy. Really cool bridge with harmony. The lyrics are always interesting and quite poetic. Scott, your taste is always so spot-on with the songs requirements.

Hi Robertkc,
Perfect symbiosis between your voice and Scott's guitar. The harmonies are pleasant. And all well done.

Mysterious and gloomy, Scott's playing can really paint the blood and excitement. Poetic and introspective story, different angle to a spy. Interesting vocals add to the mood, is that backing choir also an RT (was not listed)? Very creative work.

Was really happy when Robert came up with the idea for a new spy tune. This one can be the sequel to Spellbound. Maybe more sequels to come down the road. Thanks for all the awesome comments and for checking out the song. Your comments are very much appreciated.

Excellent song!
Great vocal and harmonies. Outstanding chops, as usual, and mix.
Two thumbs up
Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up. Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.

Hi Robert and Scott,
Great to see a new song from you two!

Love your tone Scott! And your sense of melody also, you are playing some very cool lines.
Nice one! Thanks Dave; I appreciate your endorsement of my writing- been out of the loop for a while so a little support goes a long way. We have a backlog of tunes coming now... I`m trying to catchup with Scott`s unflagging enthusiasm! Marty, I`m glad you got the core of the write; I`m not a fan the Ken Doll smooth Roger Moore Bond type, but Daniel Craig lets us behind the mask and that`s what I was aiming at here. Thank you for your likes on this. Hi Robertkc,
Perfect symbiosis between your voice and Scott's guitar. The harmonies are pleasant. And all well done.
Kindly regard Derochette alias JaniJackFlash Thank you for listening Derochette! Nice! Good write, cool backing and lyric.

Janne Janne, The bgv`s are from a synth choir Scott found. I agree his guitar captures the slightly ominous mood here;thank you for listening and commenting. Robert

“from a boy they called quiet his face in the dirt to the man who struck back the spy who struck first
how will you get clean with your mind of many rooms a heart no one`s seen”
This is a very serious spy story and reminds us of how much we enjoyed Ian Fleming’s early Bond novels.
As others mentioned Scott’s guitar and your vocals are such a good match and have an ethereal vibe.
Good arrangement and mix too!
Fine work from both of you.

Very Bond-like indeed, the intro wasn't really necessary to get the idea. Good work by both of you, I especially like the lyrics and how you deliver them. Unusual but well working choice of harmonies.
Cool stuff!

Robert & Scott, Very cool and unusual tune. Almost theatrical. Robert, you can sculpt lyrics very well! Clear vocals, but I wish they would be more upfront. Scott's signature guitar sound creates perfect mood. Solid production. Thank you for sharing.
Misha.

J&B J&B, There`s a darker tinge to the Bond theme songs I like (Skyfall),though less of a story lyrically...but I can`t hold those big notes like Adelle so have to fill the space with more words! Thanks for you kind comments. I love these lyrics, Robert. I'm intrigued.
Vic Vic, I`m glad you found the write interesting- thanks for listening. Very Bond-like indeed, the intro wasn't really necessary to get the idea. Good work by both of you, I especially like the lyrics and how you deliver them. Unusual but well working choice of harmonies.
Cool stuff! B.D., I appreciate your thoughts; I thought Scott nailed that tell tale guitar intro passage. Thanks for your thumbs up on the lyrics. Robert I love that opening guitar. And the guitar throughout.
Vocal is really good.
I enjoyed the the whole tune and the feel of it all.
A Spirit Level top tune. That`s very kind Scott; thank you! Robert
