Hi, I'm new to Band in a Box, so this may be easy to fix. I just bought 2023 version. When I load a RealTracks song it does not find the style to go with it. If I load the song - A Southern Girl 160 country-outlaw male G _WAYLGP, it does not find the _WAYLGP.style. It does work in the style select page but cannot be loaded up.

Welcome to the forums.
What BiaB Pak did you purchase? Is it Pro (which is their entry level starter Pak), Mega, Ultra, Audiophile etc. That might be related?
I'm presuming that the song is from folder: "\bb\Songs and Lessons\Artist Performance Sets\Artist Performance Set 14 - Songs with Vocals volume 4"
and the full name is: "A Southern Girl 160 country-outlaw male A _ROBBER+.MGU"
Does you mixer show exactly these tracks, including track numbers and full names, or does it show some substitutions?
BIAB & RB2024 Win.(Audiophile), Sonar Platinum, Cakewalk by Bandlab, Izotope Prod.Bundle, Roland RD-1000, Synthogy Ivory, Kontakt, Focusrite 18i20, KetronSD2, NS40M Monitors, Pioneer Active Monitors, AKG K271 Studio H'phones
Thanks for your help. I am however disappointed by this.
... and that's probably the main reason many of us dislike the 'Pro' label. I think it isn't intended to mislead, but I think it too often does.
Try contacting PGM via their Chat (actual real and knowledgable people) or via support@pgmusic.com and they may be able to help.
FWIW, after we've been using BIAB a while, most of us end up getting the UltraPAK version as there is a huge wealth of content. It's quite often a little cheaper to buy Pro and then upgrade. The usual advice if when/if you're ready, get the biggest pack you can sensibly afford. In the mean time, the styles etc. in Pro are good but limited and BIAB will often/usually offer an alternative style if the original one isn't available.
Jazz relative beginner, starting at a much older age than was helpful. Kawai MP6, Korg M50, Ui24R, Saffire Pro 40. AVL:MXE Linux; Windows 11; Win8.1: Scarletts BIAB2022 UltraPAK, Reaper, a bunch of stuff.

I think we all encountered this. I think it's probably because for marketing purposes, "PRO" sounds better than "BEGINNER" or "STARTER" pak. I'd like to see it re-labeled as LEVEL 1, LEVEL 2 and so on, but I'm not in the PG marketing dept.
The simple solution is to purchase one of the higher versions that does have the styles you want. I believe that if you dig deep enough on the packages page, they have a list of everything in each of the various packages.
I remember I was looking for the steel guitar real tracks and country styles and in the first version I bought, there wasn't many if any. I contacted support and they told me what version I needed and since I was a new customer who had recently bought it, I could upgrade for the difference in the price. I did that and from that point on have always used the Ultrapak+ version.
A less costly alternative is to simply buy just the add on pack you want, to get the styles you're looking for.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
Update your Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows® Today!
Update your Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows for free with build 1111!
With this update, there's more control when saving images from the Print Preview window, we've added defaults to the MultiPicker for sorting and font size, updated printing options, updated RealTracks and other content, and addressed user-reported issues with the StylePicker, MIDI Soloists, key signature changes, and more!
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
