See Video: Reaper-BBPlugin-Region-Player.mp4
Download: Reaper-BBPlugin-Region-Player.mp4

This is playing the wma files direct in the BB Plugin.

I updated the script and fixed the ending colors to match the colors in the Instant Track Creator (included), so you use it to set the region colors.
ReaTrak midi chord input to region chord player.zip

I put a marker on every beat and set this is Reaper Seeking settings

or you can get it to change at end of the measure

If you already have the Midi Input track, select it before running the Chord Input Player.

You can use the Instant Track Creator to set the color of the regions:

Hey Musocity,

The unzipped file has a scripts folder and an "Effects" folder with a MIDI subfolder with a .jsfx file. Should I copy the entire unzipped folder straight into my scripts folder, or only the scripts folder in there with the jsfx file into my effects folder, or something else?

I don't really mess around with scripts much in Reaper, so I appreciate your patience!

In Reaper menu Options > Show REAPER Resource Path
you will see Effects folder and Scripts folder, copy the files and folders the same path in the zip to the same folder path on the hard drive.
Restart Reaper.
Menu Actions>Show Action List>New Action> Load Reascript:
ReaTrak instant trak creator gui (use to set region color).lua
ReaTrak midi chord input to region chord player.lua

Run ReaTrak instant trak creator gui (use to set region color).lua
Run ReaTrak midi chord input to region chord player.lua

Thanks, :-)

I got the scripts running. Now how do I get it to communicate with the BiaB plugin? I watched the video you attached, but can't decipher how you set everything up until that point so I can replicate the workflow. Let's just assume for purposes of me figuring this out that I am going to insert a new MIDI item on Track 1 and draw in a single C major chord. What do I do next?

You need to input midi chord externally, as its playing it will detect what chord you sent to Reaper and it will go to that region name, select it with the time selection and you have loop enabled on the transport control and it will loop that region until a different chord/part color is entered.
You can drag the C7 from the chord sheet after you unfold it to give the midi that you drag into the start of a Reaper track and import the midi markers, then use the action "markers to regions" and color them with the Instant Track Creator.
To insert a marker on each beat create a custom action > move cursor to next beat > insert marker ,then set a hotkey for it.

Hmmm, still a bit confused, tbh :-(

Fact is, I'm still trying to figure out how to use the plugin properly given that there is no proper comprehensive documentation, so I need to catch up with that first. ..

I really do appreciate all your patience tho!

Make sure you have the sync enabled on the Plugin (circle with the tick in it) to play back in sync to the DAW, so the region represent the chord sheet.
