If I use, say, SynthMaster to get an idea of a sound (record the MIDI for now)
Then try to Autoconvert MIDI to stereo Audio Track ..
it does the conversion to audio just fine, but
1.(it defaults to trying to do so on the same MIDI track number, which is not a best choice (use next available blank track instead)
2. once it is done converting, the source MIDI VSTi window is empty and non-responsive
If I close that window RB still seems fine, but trying to do anything on that VSTi synth window is not possible at this point, it is pretty much a blank screen
Anyone else?

I already explained; you can make it work.
My point is that the default track selection is just wrong (but can be changed as long as you catch it) and the VSTi window is a wreck afterwards.

For a future build, it will be made to default to a different track than current track. I also notice that if you Undo this command and it was set to the current track and had converted it to an audio track, then this will then cause access violation during playback which will also be fixed for future build. I am not sure why the effects panel is going blank after that command, but just switching to another of the 4 slots and back to the synth slot seems to resolve it. I can probably have it automatically refresh the effects panel at the end of that command being executed for a future build. Thanks.
