I'm involved in a University affiliated, non-profit, semi-think tank organization and we are researching the establishment of a private forum/message board for communications and collaborations.
Personally, I admire the layout and functionality of this PG forum. It's smart, effective and easily navigated.
Was this platform designed and programmed by PGMusic or a subcontactor? Or was it purchased and/or hosted by a 3rd party company?
If this forum software platform is wholly owned by PGMusic might it be for sale to other organizations?
If not available for sale, does anyone have recommendations for a reasonably priced forum hosting company?
I'm aware of Discourse, Circle and Slack.

If you don't like PHP/MySQL, NOPCommerce has a decent one also for free.
It is a free open source eCommerce platform in .NET/MSSQL that includes a decent forum app. Use it just for that.
