I decided not to comment songs, which are in the genre I don't like, because it's just a matter of taste and I don't want depress anyone, but: The beginning of your song almost scared me away, but then your sax stopped me listening. I like it, and as an orphan myself, I sympathize your message. Very well produced, even tho the sounds we'rent my favourite ones.

Steve, lovely tribute and tasteful playing. Love the BiaB arrangement, especially the EP. Nice solo by Mr Stern, too. Enjoyable listen!

Laurent-

I know that jazz isn't for everyone. I don't take offense. I try to hear at least one new song every day. I don't like them all. But as much as it is important to know what you like and why, it's equally important to know what you do not like and why. I'm grateful for anyone who gives my music a chance and listen.

Really cool smooth jazz and the sax work is excellent. The guitar solo makes for a nice change of pace. Jeff Lorber is always a good choice for piano in this kind of tune.

Steve, you really know how to play those horns!
As usual outstanding work.
When my friends were listening to Cream, Jimi, etc I was listening to Miles, Coltrane, etc and your playing is on par with them.
Loved it.

When you are at the checkout line and they ask if you found everything say "Why, are you hiding stuff?"

WaoBand- Thank you. I have been a fan of Mike Stern (guitar soloist) since the 80's. Even longer... I was a fan of Blood, Sweat, and Tears as a kid (Mike Stern was with them). I really learned who he was when he was with Miles in the 80's. He's one of my favorite guitar players.

For me and many others here, I'm sure, it's a real treat having a horn man contribute regularly. The head on this was very good, as was the improvisation. It was a fine tribute.

First of all, Steve, cool wallclock. Man, you can play that thing. I really enjoy all the stuff on your YT channel. This one in many ways is a favorite, not just because of the sentiment you attach to it, but the way that sentiment starts from your heart then is pushed from your diaphram through the reed and passing through your horn with all the right pads opened and closed to deliver that emotional sound. Cool backing band too.

Enjoy whatever happens!

BabuMusic-

Not sure where we got that clock, but we've had it a long time. Gotta remember to move it ahead an hour tonight.
