I have not upgraded my BIAB for Mac since 2022 and recently needed to update my Mac OS to Sonoma to run the latest version of Logic Pro. I am able to open BIAB in Sonoma and it runs for a few minutes and then I get an error about the 2022 version of BIAB not being compatible.
I am not home and cannot check to see if I have the latest update for 2022 installed, but just wanted to check if others have been able to run Mac 2022 on Sonoma. I have the latest vesion of Sonoma installed.

There were many issues that needed to be resolved to get BIAB 2023 working properly over Sonoma but PG Music and Apple eventually came through for us. I know that the Notation Window in 2022 doesn't work; don't know about the rest. Since Ventura, reverting to an earlier macOS is extremely difficult. It can be done but isn't for the faint of heart and Apple doesn't support it. What you can do if you have the drive space is create a new APFS Volume on your Mac, download and install an older macOS and BIAB 2022 onto it, boot into that Volume and run BIAB from there. Add, delete, or erase APFS volumes in Disk Utility on Mac It's pretty easy. You can also get an external SSD and do the same thing if you don't have the drive space on your System drive.

Thank you for your feedback and specific ideas on how I can use 2022. I appreciate it!
I may hold off and wait for the Mac 2025 release. I'm hoping this may come in the next few months. I'm assuming that 2025 will run on Sonoma.

I may hold off and wait for the Mac 2025 release. I'm hoping this may come in the next few months. I'm assuming that 2025 will run on Sonoma. That would be my recommendation. The nice thing about APFS Volumes is that it takes a few seconds to delete one when you don't need it anymore. Since Volumes share drive space, you get it back instantly once deleted.
