Hi folks, please note that PG Music gave us permission to link to this cover song on the User Showcase. It received over 30,000 streams in a month (mostly Spotify) and features, as do all our songs, Band-in-a-Box tracks. This is an exception to their posting protocols and we much appreciate them allowing it to be posted ... and for enabling us over the past 14 years to explore so many genres and have so much fun doing so.
Last year J&B and Peter produced an EP of 8 cover songs … a first for us. These Days (Peter’s idea/production) was placed on several popular Spotify playlists. The placement on the most popular list was for 28 days for which time it resided next to a Linda Ronstadt tune which was very humbling.
Other than Janice’s vocals and Peter’s guitar all of the tracks on all the songs are PG Music RT’s, RD’s and MST’s.

I had never heard this Jackson Browne song - having grown up and immersed in the Britosphere, so I don’t have the historical ears. I listened to the original and your cover - Janice’s vocals superb as ever, and Peter’s guitar work and arrangement provides a wonderful backdrop that acknowledges the original but also provides something different. I don't usually comment on cover versions, but in your case, I always make an exception Congratulations on your achievement, lovely version with all of your great trademarks - Janice's remarkable and elegant rendition, Peter's enjoyable guitar playing, and the mix that is top radio/Spotify quality. And BIAB tracks sound just as good as any real performers.
This is exceptional listening. I love this song. Janice's vocals are a perfect fit; Peter's guitar playing is an equally perfect fit, and the production is outstanding. Honestly, the three of you deserve all the credit and exposure that comes your way. You have well and truly earned it. And that doesn't surprise me at all. Of course, you deserve this success, because you make such great music yourselves, but when you make covers, they just sound like yours!
