Very good song with an excellent vocal! Liked the SRV and Bonnie references, and Pat Bergeson's harp was perfect. Well done!

Really nice. I enjoyed the song and the mix is good too.
Nice use of the instruments.
Nothing to be blue about.... well except it's a good old blues song.

Two songs a year? I’d easily wait six months for a song of this quality! Your singing is very appealing, and the country swing feel is engaging. The lyrics roll out like velvety chocolate. It was a pleasure to listen to.

Hi, Scott. Excellent! All the instruments sound great (as well as your vocals), but the gospel choir was icing on top of an already rich cake. Love the bouncing between the harmonica and guitar. Love everything about this.

Very cool, Scott. My first comment is on the title: You got that right! hehe Man, no one writes lyrics as well as you, Scott. A fun production, and i like your choice of instruments. Excellent vocal --very engaging. Cool harmonica. Dig that Bridge, and the ooze and oz of the choir. Much fun.

Thanks for the listens and comments. It got busy around here and we're about to travel so I probably won't drop by again for a few days. You probably wouldn't notice though, since I'm rarely here anyway. I thought I'd be better at that, at being present in these forums, but I certainly haven't been.

Not bad blues at all! Enjoyed the message, pleasant and fun lyrics, positive blues is an oxymoron but you have made it work! Catchy melody and rhythm. Nice moody vocals. The band is excellent, the harmonica and guitar solos fit really well and the gospel vocals are the icing on the cake (edit: noticed that David also said that so it must be very true .
