qualcuno mi sa dire come fare per generare se possibile la traccia melodia con una real track??grazie sono un nuovo utente ovviamente...

Ciao Luigi e benvenuto tra noi,
non hai dato informazioni sulla tua versione del programma, comunque in generale cliccando col destro del mouse in alto su uno qualsiasi dei nomi di traccia (Melodia, Solista, Basso, ecc.) ti appare un menu contestuale dove trovi anche una riga tipo Add/Remove RealTracks... (potrebbe differire un po' in relazione alla versione del software), ti aprirà una finestra dove poter selezionare lo strumento da utilizzare solo per quella specifica traccia.
Ci sarebbe ancora molto da scrivere sulle possibili scelte da fare in fase di selezione dello strumento, ma il miglior consiglio è quello di sperimentare più possibile.

ho comprato la versione 2010.5 per windows arrivata in USA pochi giorni fa (risiedo in USA) ma a parte che e' tutta in inglese (lo so ma mi trovo ovviamente meglio nella mia lingua) mentre io l'avveo chiesta in italiano.... manualetto piccolissimo in italiano, quallo completo in inglese.
per quanto riguarda la melodia il sistema che dici tu l'ho provato ma mi genera un solo e non la melodia che invece si puo' ascoltare solo in midi. il sistema ci deve essere e io sono troppo inesperto sicuramente.
comunque pian piano... il problema e' il tempo e la pzaienza dote di cui sono poco dotato... preferisco studiare il mio strumento piuttosto che leggere e capire poco... sfruttero' questo foro il programma mi piace direi e grazie del benvenuto, a presto

Non mi sembra che per la versione Italiana funzioni così, il programma è costruito in Inglese e viene venduto nella lingua originale, le versioni nelle altre lingue sono in pratica dei file inviati su richiesta a chi ha regolarmente acquistato il software. In questo Post: aiutino per patch italiana di band in a box 2009il Moderatore Maurig ci mette a disposizione un esempio su come chiedere la Patch per l'aggiornamento della lingua. Per quanto riguarda la Melodia sinceramente sono di parere diverso, è vero che bisogna dedicarci del tempo (con la bacchetta magica purtroppo non si ottiene nulla) ma prima di far generare una traccia audio al programma, si possono fare delle scelte e correggere delle impostazioni che possono aiutare a far si che il risultato si avvicini più possibile alle nostre aspettative, in parole povere si può far creare una traccia melodica audio a BiaB, come ti ho già scritto bisogna provare e sperimentare molto. Vorrei aggiungere però un parere personale su quest'ultimo argomento, ritengo sconveniente erigere dei "distinguo" così marcati tra Melodia e Solista. In un brano musicale la melodia è la struttura musicale più identificabile (cito da Wilkpedia), dev'essere semplice, orecchiabile, in grande "armonia" con l'arrangiamento, possibilmente dovrebbe trasmettere emozioni, ma una parte solistica perchè dovrebbe distinguersi? a parer mio potrebbe essere solo più breve, come un inciso, od un finale, magari scostandosi anche parecchio dall'atmosfera della melodia del brano, ma dev'essere comunque gradevole e orecchiabile, deve avere sempre una linea melodica nella sua intelaiatura, altrimenti è solo un esercizio ginnico. In breve penso che Melodia e Solista dovrebbero avere di diverso solo il "contorno", e BiaB mi piace molto proprio perchè vedo nei suoi arrangiamenti questa caratteristica, quando gli faccio generare nella traccia Melodia una parte solistica, con pochi accorgimenti mi sembra di riuscire a farla suonare da vera Melodia, non confondibile con un assolo. Forse non sono riuscito a spiegarmi molto chiaramente, e mi dispiace se vi ho annoiato. Sergio

non mi sono spiegato. concordo con te sulle questioni melodia solista etc. ma io sto parlando di standard jazz da real book che ho in midi incluso lamelodia. mentre riesco a mettere tutte lereal tracks dei vari strumenti ed in partcilare piano, bass, e drums, se metto uan real track nella melodia questa non segue piu' la melodia ma genera un solo. c'e' un modo per generarla correttamente? grazie a presto

credo tu intenda che sono file nel formato proprietario di BiaB, mi sembra possa essere l'unica maniera per poter convertire le 5 tracce basi dell'arrangiamento nel formato audio.
Praticamente tutte le RealTracks del programma appartengono ad uno Style che, per semplificare al massimo, diciamo che ha un gemello non audio. Un file che è stato creato con BiaB (standard jazz o no) sarà per forza basato su uno degli Styles del programma (per ora scordiamoci di melodie e solisti), per cui è molto probabile tu possa riuscire a sostituire il suono midi con quello audio di una RealTracks, le differenze (sempre per semplificare diciamo "sul pentagramma") saranno minime.
Le traccie Melodia e Solista vanno viste con un'ottica diversa.
Esse non vengono costruite insieme alle tracce dell'arrangiamento (mi riferisco in questo caso agli Standard che suppongo tu possieda), saranno stati registrati nella traccia Melodia o Solista forse in diretta con strumenti Midi, o in molti altri modi. Impossibile sostituirli con una RealTrack, verrebbe generata nuova di zecca in base a regole precise inserite dai programmatori. L'unica maniera per trasformare in audio questo tipo di tracce è quella utilizzata prima della nascita di RealDrum e RealTracks, cioè l'utilizzo di Plugins DXi o VST (metodo che io uso ancora per il 90% dei miei arrangiamenti.
Spero di non averti confuso le idee ancor di più.
