Famous 1969 song by Ralph McTell, with lyrics all too true even today about the poor, the lonely and the homeless in London - and Everywhere. Although the words make me infinitely sad, I like the melody so here is a shorter, more uptempo New Arrangement by me as a guitar piece in no way intending to lessen the Reality of his original song. I like your playing on the melody. The mix is interesting to listen to but I didn't hear the piano track. Great performance as always.
Hi Jim Thank you for your comment on the playing. I try my best. The Mix? Mmmh - the Piano IS there I promise but it has somehow got buried. The piano is central so 'under' my Lead line. Oddly enough it sounds out clearer PRE Mastering. Maybe that isn't always such a good thing despite it seeming to be the Holy Grail of recording techniques? Bests Ian

Great, dynamic mix. The drum section breaks fit really well.
Sweet guitar work, no surprise there.
Was that really 1969? Wow!
Yes, 1969. Where does the Time go? The drum infills are as they came straight out of the (Band in a) Box. Lol. No multiriffing, stems etc etc. I use BB in its simplest form probably - pop the chords in, mess with them a little sometimes and let BB do its Thing. Thanks for the comment on the guitar playing. Much appreciated. Bests Ian

I think even with the changes you made that it was still very respectful to the message of the original. You did a really good job, so thank you for taking the time to share it with us!

Thank you Ember. Much appreciated. I can't use our 'Showcase' as most of my stuff is Covers so this is the only way I can post what BB can give us in 'arranging' things differently. Bests Ian
