Can I exchange SGU documents in this section? Here's the case, let me explain.
I find that the rhythm of the chords is important. Or that the different positions of the chords will make the song different. There are a lot of songs where I have a hard time holding the position of my chords. I don't know if it is possible to upload SGU files here. Let's say I hear a clip that's only 20 seconds and then I write an SGU file myself, but something is wrong with me. Then I sent it here, let the experienced teacher, help me revise it. Don't know if it's okay?
You can not attach SGU files to forum posts since only image files are permitted.
You can upload a SGU file to the internet and post a link to it the same as you presently do with your video files.
thanks.
Which section of the forum can exchange and learn. I mainly want to learn chord placement. I'm familiar with it at the beginning of the bar, but sometimes at the back, I'm a little confused and don't know when and where to put it at the back. Is there any teaching like this on youtube? What do I need to search for?
Tab or Enter will move to first half then second half of the bar. Then a comma , will separate the first and second chords in that half bar.
For example in the position you have in your image: "Tab,37" would give you bar 6 empty except for a 37 on the fourth beat.
If you need even more control, then you should look at what PGM call "microchords": https://youtu.be/GaF7kqZu-II
Jazz relative beginner, starting at a much older age than was helpful. Kawai MP6, Korg M50, Ui24R, Saffire Pro 40. AVL:MXE Linux; Windows 11; Win8.1: Scarletts BIAB2022 UltraPAK, Reaper, a bunch of stuff.

I want to connect the chord positions of some songs. I found that most popular songs were written in the first shot. For example, some RAP songs are used to the second blank beat, writing two chords in the second half, and so on.
The Band-in-a-Box chord sheet defaults to space for four entries per bar. Each entry is equal to one chord. On the chord sheet below A = entry one, B = entry two, C = entry three and D = entry four. See bar 1
The cursor occupies space for two entries. See bar 6. I use TAB to advance the cursor to the right and ALT+TAB to move the cursor to the left.
Below are the keystrokes I used to enter the chord sheet in the screen shot.
Bar 1: a,b tab c,d tab Bar 2: a tab tab Bar 3: ,b tab tab Bar 4: tab c Bar 5: tab tab ,d tab Bar 6: a tab tab Bar 7: a,b tab tab Bar 8: a,b tab c tab Bar 9: a,b tab c,d
Band-in-a-Box automatically enters the a in space 1 of bar 10 because the song key signature is set for a.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Update your Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows for free with build 1111!
With this update, there's more control when saving images from the Print Preview window, we've added defaults to the MultiPicker for sorting and font size, updated printing options, updated RealTracks and other content, and addressed user-reported issues with the StylePicker, MIDI Soloists, key signature changes, and more!
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
