This song is based on a true story, but details have been changed to protect the guilty

Technically it's very sinple. I used CDRIVIF CountryDriving 8ths w Fiddle style, but left out the fiddle and replaced it with the associated pedal steel. Everything was imported into Sonar after that.

I'm hoping that the vocals are clear enough, but just in case I'm showing the lyrics- which is what this song is all about.

Well my band in the late nineties were a party lovin’ lot,
With hordes of skanky chicks and they smoked a lot of pot.
But I’m a good Christian, told them I won’t be a part of all that.
One day they gave me soup with herbs, didn’t have a second thought,
But the herb was marijuana; I got high, yes I’d been caught.
I went around the house, found their pot and plotted revenge.
(Chorus) So I went to the bathroom did my business in each stash,
Sealed them up real tight, gave them each a thorough mash.
Put them where I’d found them; think I’d made my feelings quite plain.
It gave new meaning to HASH BROWNIES; don’t ever do that to me again.
I called a band meeting, said I knew what had been done,
Don’t appreciate my morals being compromised for fun.
I told them I’d done something, but I wouldn’t tell them quite what it was.
I said for me it ends right here, but if you want to take a shot,
I’ll meet you after midnight in the hotel parking lot,
But no one took me up; I thought it was the end of this tale.
(Chorus)
It was only weeks later that I heard the stories end,
I couldn’t quite believe how much on grass that they depend.
I’ll tell you what then happened, but I’m sure you won’t believe it a bit.
It seems the cops had done a bust and supplies were very short,
And the guys were getting desperate, with nothing to be bought.
So they washed it and then smoked it, guess you really could call it good (beep)
(Chorus)x2
