Gone But Not Forgotten

I have been extremely busy this past month with the passing of my mother, the funeral, working with my brothers on her estate and cleaning up a major mold problem in my basement. Thus I have had very little time for music! Plus it looks like I’m going to be busy for the next month or two.

But I did put together this piece as a tribute to my mother during my limited free time. I am on guitar (guess who my mother thought the best guitarist in the world was) and bass. The rest is a slightly modified BiaB style as follows:

Style = New Age 2 @ 60 BPM

The guitar part I raised 1 octave and changed the patch to a Gamalon
The piano part I raised 1 octave and changed the patch to a Rhodes EP
The strings I changed to a majestic pad
The drums are a TTS-1 GM Jazz Kit
Of course I deleted the bass track

Note that the above tracks are as generated by BiaB. All I did was to change the patches and changed the octave on two of them.

I had a hard time finding a solo so I had BiaB generate a melody part. I then used about 3 or 4 different phrases and used them as starting points.

I hope you like it.

Me, it's not about how many times you fail, it's about how many times you get back up.
Cop, that's not how field sobriety tests work.
