Sorry, I don't want to offend anyone. I am not sure it goes back to black influence only, I am referring more to the stlye of singing bends and bluenotes which is so unique in both styles. I have just bought a DVD named 'Vocal Harmony Workshop' by the Nashville Bluegrass Band which highly recomendable. It's just fun to sing along with these old time bluegrass and gospel songs and practice the different parts.

I don't know if PG music will pick up this idea, but I think if well done this could be their best sold vocal learning unit and help people have fun and use their own God-given instrument. It would probably be a better idea to separate the two styles and make one Bluegrass and one Gospel unit each with some of the most important and beautiful songs on it.

I'd be the first to buy them, anyone else who might be interested???
