Yes but it's not intuitive. By design and default, BIAB generates an entire track and regenerates the entire track.

In a situation like you describe, if you're happy with all of your solo except two bars, regeneration still does the entire track. If you have a Windows version of BIAB, your program will include another program called RealBand, which is a DAW and you can save and open your file in RealBand and generate just the two measures of your solo.


If you don't have RealBand, it can also be done in any other DAW but there are more steps involved.


It can be done in BIAB but again, additional steps that are a bit complicated are involved as well as having at least one free channel in the mixer.
