That "outstanding" bar is never a problem for you and like the best of the best Olympic high-jumpers, you ALWAYS manage to clear it with plenty of air. I guess that that Old Norse word called "skill" is what it's all about.

Bud mentioned the alliteration in the hook and I agree... those four 'w' sounds on accented beats also caught my ear. That's very clever and very memorable writing!

What I really admire about the line "Wishin' and whiskey to wash away the sin" is that from a rhyming perspective, it is fully self-contained. The short 'i' sounds in "wishin" and "whiskey", along with the "-in" at the end of "wishin" all partner the final word "sin" --- I'm definitely going to look for something as streamlined as this in my next song!
