Hey, maybe I am missing a trick somewhere, but sometimes BIAB plays piano sounds on all tracks apart from the drum track.

Even re-selecting or refreshing the choice of midi patch, eg guitar, bass or anything else, does not seem to help to revert the sound back. In the mixer it shows the chosen patch, but the sound playing is a standard piano sound.

Looking at the midi monitor, it seems as if the patches are not activated. The monitor shows that the values for the program change messages (shown as controller types MSB and LSB) are set to 0.

1 0 1 B1 00 00 Control Change ($Bx) 2 CC Type = #0 Bank Select MSB CC Value = 0

I don't think this is your issue, but initially, you should update to the latest released version which is 713

Hi DEAN
Msb 0 Lsb 0 will send your midi patch as the default midi voice/patch set to your synth .
So you need to use a gm synth. Or dxi or vsti
Try the Coyote wave table and tick the box in midi settings to use VSTi/ DXI synth
The default midi patch if you do no send another will be a piano as this is patch 0
You can change this in the mixer, vibes will be patch 12.

Thanks guys, I will get onto both of those and see whether it makes a difference.
The strange thing is that most of the times the instrument choices stay put, but sometimes they don't.
Last time this happened, I was clicking through the plugin and patch panels on the mixer... and that somehow upset the system.
Anyway... let's see whether it's still the same for 713 and I'll look into using the Coyote as well.
