I've been using BB for years, actually... but I think I use maybe 1/100th of the features, because it just... WORKS, and after it works I dump everything into SONAR to edit, mix, and master. And when I go to peruse the BB Manual (yes, I'm a baby boomer, a generation that reads MANUALS!), I get lost, because they type is too small and the manual is simply too full of information I probably won't ever use. Oh, and it's non-linear.

With those failings (mine), can / would anyone help me with a couple simple questions, please?

1. I want to start recording my own Real Tracks. I cannot find the template or chord sheet on the PG website. Where does one look, please?
2. After I have an arrangement ready (or the template ready to record), I would like to save the Chord Sheet as a PDF and send it to those musicians who are helping me. Just the Chord Sheet with the Chords, Bar Numbers, and Bar Markers ("Chorus", "Verse", etc). How do I do that?
3. Is there a "BB for Dummies", or other similar BOOK I could buy? If so, what's the ISBN, please?

This self-isolation is making me nuts! I might as well be productive! smile

Thank you, and stay safe in the second wave!

For #2, print your music to a PDF file. The print menu includes options of what to include on the printout.

BIAB used to include a utility, PDF995. Install that and choose it instead of the name of your regular actual printer.

I prefer Cute PDF but there are many good free utilities besides the two I mentioned.

Thanks, Matt! That gets me part way there, but the print file is still 3 pages long for a measly 136 bars. Would that "Cute Print" (if I track it down) allow me to compress it into a page?

I'm thinking maybe I should use Snip and do it that way... grin

To make own RealTracks, is called UserTracks.

See tutorial video and link to templates for User Tracks here:

There are plenty of video tutorials and overviews available for different aspects of BIAB here:

There is actually a topic in the forum, where you can request a video on particular subject. Here is an example of video that I requested some time ago, dealing with general song structure:

Musician Joan Cooper, offers nice video tutorials and ebooks on BIAB:

Hope that helps.

On the Print Options, you could increase the number of staves per page.
