Hello!

Did you know you can also create your own patch map?

Windows: http://www.pgmusic.com/tutorial_bbwpatchmap.htm
Mac: http://www.pgmusic.com/tutorial_bbmpatchmap.htm

PowerTracks and/or RealBand (Windows only): http://www.pgmusic.com/tutorial_ptwpatchmap.htm

Callie, he may not have to.

OthniJavier, welcome to the forum. I don't believe a patch map for that exists but if you look at the patch maps that have been written (see my link, below), you may find a similar model such as the PSR S500. It might work fully, or partially, or you might be able to do what I've done with some of my Roland models: modify an existing similar patch map.

Make sure you use a Yamaha-based patch map, as they use a system of counting (displacement) that is different from Roland and all other companies, to my knowledge. Otherwise, your patches would be off by a count of one.

Go here to look:

If that doesn't work, another option is to find a patch map for your model on the Internet from Cakewalk SONAR. This would be a .ini file instead of a .pat file. BIAB can convert the .ini file to a .pat file.

+++ HERE +++ is a link to the Cakewalk file for the Yamaha PSR-S950. Hopefully that will give you a good base to create a PG Music PAT file.
