Hi all
Colin from France here (but I'm English)

I bought Biab to produce scores for musicians I play with as I am an amateur blues/jazz and pop singer.

I realise now that I am woefully out of my depth and need to learn to play chords and scales on a piano to help me interact with the various musicians I play with.

I learned to play sax over 30 years ago but it's not much help to be honest.

Which keyboards should I look at to use with Biab if I want to write music and scores ( I have a small Akai pro MPk midi keyboard which is not really big enough)

Which chord progression book should I look to get to learn with too ?

Any suggestions gratefully received

Colin

You might try the Yamaha or Suzuki music learning methods. I believe they both make a keyboard that displays walk through lessons on a small screen. And even lighted keys for real beginners.
Or, check out some of PG Musics piano tutorials. I have PGs Piano Master Class (or something like that). It came with a package I bought years ago.

There's even this:
Pianist Performance Series. Featuring the piano styles of today in over 250 "live-to-MIDI" performances by top contemporary pianists.
You might find some of the scores you want in the MIDI files.
