Hello All,
I usually do most of my work in BB, but had to finish up a project in RB.
The RealDrums always seem quieter in RB, and somehow I came across a +/- 18 to boost velocity.
Today I can't locate it, however; it's not the vel function under the EDIT menu.
Any help to point me in the right direction is greatly appreciated.

In the Edit DX/VST window there is a trim dial in the lower corner. That the one you looking for?
You have to open the Track FX window to see it.
Or maybe one of the ones on the Mixer window?

Are you working with Midi drums in Real band?
I almost always (to my recollection) end up with audio drums when I open the project in real band from BB.
As such, I can use normalize to increase the overall level in the track and add audio FX.. compression and or EQ to brighten the sound and that has the effect of making the drums easier to hear when highs are added.

I am using the Realdrums which are audio, and will check out the normalize option.
Bob,
I never noticed the trim knob, but it does allow me to boost the RD.
Have know idea how I came across the +/- knob I referenced earlier.

You can also Right-Click the volume slider in the Tracks window and get a +/- setting. It's not a 'knob' but another place to use the Trim adjustment.

The +/- velocity setting when right-clicking the volume slider is what I was talking about in my original post. I knew it had to be somewhere.

MIDI velocity recreates hitting a drum louder or gentler. Change the velocity of drum notes to make smoother thumps or beats.
