HI folks. Weird issue here. When I am recording in mono, after I ok the take the data appears on the recorded track and the track adjacent to it. It gives itself the title "Right Channel". I have to erase it every time afterwards. can't figure out what is wrong.

in the track menu there is an option to merge tracks, so you can record the track the way you were and merge it to a mono track
The image below shows where to tell RB whether you want to record two mono tracks (using left and right separately) or the drop down options will allow selecting either the Left or Right side by itself, which sounds like what you want. If you select using either the Left or Right side alone (instead of both) you should get a single MONO track after recording. Note how the option of using L & R states you will end up with two tracks.
I think this setting could be moved to more of the front end (GUI) so it is more apparent, but don't know where to suggest! For most users it is minor .. maybe if when you hit record all the tracks being reserved/used could show some sign of usage .. then we'd know beforehand .. anyway, hope the explanation/image helps.
