Jim, your example makes a good point, but an even better argument for fixing the 255 measure limitation.

Since none of us has any idea how most of this program works internally because that is proprietary information, most of our requests suffer from the deficiency of not knowing how they might work. Well, several people here feel the original feature request I made is worthy. None of us can know how it might be accomplished. And thankfully, that's not ours to figure out here.

Maybe just handle it like it currently handles playing? I can start playing any chorus at any selected bar. Just select the bars you wish to regenerate and the popup just requires me to select the chorus before it generates?

Or even IF it can be accomplished.

As any programmer knows what sounds like the simplest suggestion to implement to some people can be either the hardest to implement or totally impossible to implement without a complete rewrite. Been there - done that!

Yes, I totally agree, Mario. I'm a retired computer science professor.

I am counting on the fact that this can done in RealBand, so I'm asking if something that already exists can be adapted to BIAB. One can hope.

Yes Matt I know you are a retired computer science professor. My text was aimed at those whom may not know that some suggestions/wishes may not be easily installed. I apologize if you took it personally as I certainly would not do that intentionally.

PS - +1

Goodness, Mario, I hadn't even considered that was aimed at me. It was a good overview comment for all non-programmers. Carry on!

What's that line?
Impossibilities, we do immediately. Miracles take a little longer...

(I doubt this one needs a miracle)
